As we wrap up this dance season, I want to take a moment to share some personal reflections and exciting updates. This will be the last blog post until September, as my team shifts focus to the upcoming DanceLife Teacher Conference and the Soul Dancer Conference. These events are foundational to our mission, engaging hundreds of dance educators, studio owners, dancers, and their parents—all sharing a passion for dance and a chance to rejuvenate their spirits.

Starting dance at the age of 3, 2024 marks my 60th year in a field that has become my life—a significant milestone for both my personal journey and my company. After a lengthy two-year process, I have sold my home, which doubled as the DanceLife Retreat Center. This place was a dream come true, a venue where I've welcomed countless friends and created lasting memories. However, the pandemic and shifts in our operations transformed my perspective, pushing about 80% of our company's operations online, allowing us to connect with a broader audience and impacting dance educators and studio owners globally.

This change brings a new chapter in my life, one focused on embracing evolution, exploring new possibilities, and reflection. While I will continue to lead our associations and conferences, I’m excited to announce that our first "DanceLife Retreat on the Road" will take place in Florida this fall—the tradition continues.

The pandemic has taught us resilience and innovation. It has shown us that while we may face challenges, we also uncover opportunities for growth and new beginnings. Enjoy your summer, take the time to recharge, and prepare for an inspiring season ahead. Remember, every ending is just a new beginning. Let’s embrace the changes and make the most of every opportunity that comes our way.

Have an awesome day and enjoy the journey—Rhee
