Haithcox, Ginger

Ginger Haithcox, a natural born leader, has a long history of working with youth serving organizations throughout her career with more than 20 years of experience as a Dance Teacher and Studio Director, Youth Minister, Camp Director, Training Specialist, Manager of Product Sales, and Director of Marketing. She completed her BA in Religion and Cultural Anthropology at Douglass College, Rutgers University and went on to complete course work in Dance and Theater at Raritan Valley College.

Ginger is the founder and director of Modern Motion Dance School in Somerset, NJ. Her leadership as Executive Director of Modern Motion dance school has focused on the development, training, and implementation of the school’s curriculum; building up a youth leadership and mentoring program for older dancers; widespread community outreach performances; strategic operational and mission based planning; as well as extensive staff development. In the Spring of 2022, Haithcox launched the school’s Art Department with weekly classes and in Summer of 2023 she launched the school’s Day Camp program.

Her certifications include Premiere Certified Acro Instructor with ADTA, Digital Video and Photography from Adobe Education Exchange, Facilitating Adult Education through Edith Macy Conference Center, Bullet Proof Manager through Crestcom International, and Digital Photography through eCornell, and Financial Coach Master certification from Ramsey Solutions. Ginger is the host of the Dance Entrepreneurs Podcast and has been a guest speaker on the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking Community Coffee Chat Podcast on Back to Dance, the presenter of several webinars DanceStudioOwner.com, IDEA, Energize Conference, and the DanceLife Teacher Conference. She created the Studio Ambassador Course for Revolution’s Learning Library as well as the Certificate of Dance Entrepreneurship program for IDEA with the support of one of her mentor, Rhee Gold.
