Gomez, Tricia

Tricia Gomez, Global Director of Rhythm Works Integrative Dance and creator of the popular Hip Hop In a Box, is considered a pioneer in early childhood hip hop education. She’s blazing a new path of opportunity for students who have learning differences and special needs by educating dance teachers on all aspects of becoming an inclusive studio.

Applying evidence-based practices from occupational therapy, physical therapy, and ABA therapy, Tricia and her team of clinical advisors revamped her Hip Hop Made Easy Program to be more purposeful and provide the necessary tools teachers need to effectively teach students who have a variety of needs. While the knowledge gained through her Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Instructor Certification workshops are geared towards working with students who have diverse challenges, instructors leave with confidence and a sense of awareness that will benefit ALL of their students.

Tricia’s unwavering dedication to education and her unique teaching methods have landed her on the Dr. Phil show as their dance expert, and the TV show Dance Revolution as the lead judge. Her choreography credits include: Saved By the Bell, the Laker Girls, The Clipper’s Spirit Dance Team and ABC’s Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade as the head choreographer for Dance the Magic! Tricia is now a consultant for the Disney Performing Arts Program where she has the honor of working with dancers from around the world.
