    Ensure your studio is a safe, inviting space by focusing on risk management, safety standards, and facility optimization.

  • February: Program Outcomes & Curriculum
    Align your curriculum with your mission and outcomes, developing programming that keeps students and families engaged.

  • March: Customer Service
    Master communication strategies, refine first impressions, and develop strong customer service systems, including handling complaints and setting boundaries.

  • April: Technology & Systems
    Use technology to track customer interactions, enhance your online presence, and maximize studio software efficiency.

  • May: HR Basics
    Learn how to manage staff, create standout job descriptions, and maintain employee compliance with contracts, benefits, and performance reviews.

  • June: Finance 101
    Understand your studio’s financial health by learning how to track finances, generate reports, and increase profitability with confidence.

  • July: Strategic Scheduling
    Design schedules that make the most of your studio’s time and space, and explore additional revenue streams to grow your business.

Participants in the Studio Owner Alliance Certification (S.O.A.C.) meet on two Tuesdays each month and will need to set aside personal time to complete each module. All sessions are recorded, so if you miss a session, you can catch up at your convenience. The program is flexible—if a module isn’t completed within the 12 months, participants can take additional time to finish all modules and achieve certification.

  • Monthly Smart Meeting: Held the first Tuesday of each month via Zoom, this session is dedicated to brainstorming, accountability, and the implementation of the previous month’s module.

  • Monthly Module Training: On the third Tuesday of each month, attend a live, educational seminar that helps you understand and implement the current month’s module.

  • Self-Guided Development: Work independently each month to implement what you've learned, applying each module to your studio’s business operations.

  • Group & Individual Accountability: Stay on track with continual follow-up, ensuring progress through group discussions and individual encouragement.

  • Trello Board Access: Use this organizational tool, customized for the program, to help you track action steps and module implementation in your studio.

  • Access to Media Library: Revisit past and current recorded sessions, downloadable resources, and training materials to support your professional development and ensure successful implementation of each module.

  • Feedback for Growth: Receive valuable feedback from peers and program facilitators in both group and individual settings to help you grow.

Through comprehensive training and hands-on implementation, we help studio owners streamline operations, foster accountability, and elevate their professional and personal growth, ensuring long-term success for their studios.

The DanceLife Alliances are proud to be united by our Code of Ethics. 

Shall be honest and straightforward, committing to the principle of integrity in regard to business practices, teaching, and other professional activities and events; treating all stakeholders with fairness and honor.

Shall practice non-discrimination on the basis of sex, race, color, creed, disability, sexual orientation, national origin, or ancestry.

Shall respect fellow school owners and/or teachers, refrain from soliciting faculty and/or students.

Shall offer dance education with an emphasis on the safety and welfare of all students; maintaining age-appropriate movement, music and costuming.

Shall make continuing education a priority and maintain a qualified faculty; propelling the dance industry forward with innovation, diversity and creativity.

Ginger Haithcox, Program Director

Ginger Haithcox has over 20 years of experience in youth-serving roles, including Dance Teacher, Studio Director, Youth Minister, Camp Director, and Marketing Director. She holds a BA in Religion and Cultural Anthropology from Rutgers University, with additional studies in Dance and Theater at Raritan Valley College.

As the founder and Executive Director of Modern Motion Dance School in Somerset, NJ, Ginger has developed the school’s curriculum, established a youth leadership program, and launched the Art Department and Day Camp programs.

Her certifications include Premiere Certified Acro Instructor with ADTA, Adobe Digital Video and Photography, Adult Education Facilitation, Bullet Proof Manager from Crestcom, and Financial Coach Master certification from Ramsey Solutions. Ginger hosts the Dance Entrepreneurs Podcast and has been a speaker for platforms like DanceStudioOwner.com and the National Consortium for Creative Placemaking.

She also created the Studio Ambassador Course for Revolution’s Learning Library and the Certificate of Dance Entrepreneurship for the Gold Alliances, with support from her mentor, Rhee Gold.
