Job Description: We are currently seeking
active Notary Signing Agents to join our team. As a Notary Signing Agent, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the signing of important legal documents for our diverse clientele.
Responsibilities: - Conducting notarial acts in accordance with Maryland state laws and regulations.
- Traveling to clients' locations, including homes, offices, hospitals, and other designated meeting places.
- Verifying the identity of signers and ensuring their understanding of the documents being signed.
- Witnessing the signing of various legal documents, including but not limited to loan documents, real estate transactions, powers of attorney, and affidavits.
- Providing explanations and clarifications to clients regarding the contents of the documents, as needed.
- Ensuring all documents are properly executed, signed, dated, and notarized according to legal requirements.
- Maintaining accurate records of notarial acts performed, including journal entries and copies of documents.
- Upholding strict confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Collaborating with team members to schedule appointments and manage workload efficiently.
- Adhering to ethical standards and professional conduct at all times.
Requirements: - Current commission as a Notary Public in the state of Maryland.
- Fluency in English. Proficiency in another language (s) is desired.
- Previous experience as a Notary required.
- Strong understanding of notarial laws, regulations, and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in high-pressure situations.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as needed.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document handling and notarization.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
