Job Description

Position Summary:

Looking for a motivated Human Resources Coordinator who is fluent in both English and Spanish to support busy manufacturing facility. This entry-level role is ideal for someone with at least 1 year of HR experience and a strong desire to grow within the field. You will assist with key HR functions such as onboarding, employee communication, record keeping, and day-to-day support for employees and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the onboarding process, including new hire orientation for both English- and Spanish-speaking employees
  • Translate HR documents and communication to ensure understanding across the workforce
  • Help maintain employee records and files in compliance with company policies and legal requirements
  • Support HR programs and initiatives such as employee engagement, wellness, and recognition
  • Respond to employee questions about policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating as needed
  • Help track attendance, time-off requests, and assist with basic payroll coordination tasks
  • Support internal HR communication efforts including flyers, bulletin boards, and events
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace culture
  • Collaborate with supervisors and HR leadership to resolve minor employee concerns

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in an HR support or coordinator role (internship or part-time experience accepted)
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field a plus
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and spoken)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Understanding of basic employment law and HR procedures
  • Interest in growing into an HR Generalist or Specialist role

This role will sit ONSITE out of the Wakefield, NE facility.
