Tracy Bauer, author of The Definitive Guide to Dance Studio Marketing, has worked in marketing and public relations in the performing arts since 1992, and is an instructor of ballet and jazz in Massachusetts. Anne Bennett
After owning and operating her own dance studio for nine years in Arlington, TX, Anne Bennett merged with the competition, and now works as an instructor and PR guru for Dance Invasion with her friend Jami Byrd. Bennett is also resident choreographer for Martin High School’s ShowChoir and choreographs local high school musicals.

Marsha Proser Cohen
Marsha Cohen teaches writing at Kennesaw State University just north of Atlanta. Involved in dance for more than 35 years, she, with her late husband Denny, owned Marden Photographers, Inc. and created Dance Manager software for studios. Cohen, a freelance writer and co-author of Jazz Danceology, has written numerous articles on dance and dancers.
Rhee Gold
Rhee Gold grew up in dance studios and later operated
his own, performed and choreographed professionally,
owned a leading dance competition, presided over national dance teaching organizations, and founded Project Motivate to reinvigorate dance teachers for the long run. His recent book, The Complete Guide to Teaching Dance
is currently inits second printing.

Kay Klausner
President of BA STAR Makeup based in Potomac, MD, Kay Klausner has had a long career creating beauty brands for some of the nation’s top retail stores. In addition, she owned a chain of cosmetic stores that sold both natural skin care and color cosmetics. She came to the business of dance watching her dancer daughter Katie.

Charlotte Klein
Charlotte Klein is the director of dance centers in Worcester and Westborough, MA, and is a member of DMA, where she has served in many capacities at both the national and New England levels. She is a cum laude graduate of Worcester [MA] State College, and is a member of the board of the Worcester State College Foundation and the Worcester State College Business Advisory committee.

Alice Korsick
For more than 20 years, Alice Korsick owned her own studio. Now based in Arizona, she is a teacher, choreographer, and competition judge nationwide. Her performance credits include the original Broadway productions of The Music Man and How to Succeed in Business…, and she has worked for choreographers including Bob Fosse, Agnes DeMille, and Onna White. Her students’ credits include the Joffrey Ballet, National Ballet of Canada, Boston Ballet, and The Bolshoi Ballet.
