Rhee Gold

As the dance field’s first public speaker, Gold presents motivational talks, lectures and keynote speeches for such organizations as the Cecchetti Council of America, Chicago National Association of Dance Masters, Dance Educators of America, Dance Masters of America, Dance Teacher Conference, United Dance Merchants of America and others.
In 1998, Gold launched Project Motivate and last season introduced the DanceLife Teacher Conference, both are groundbreaking seminars/conferences for dance educators, school owners, and their employees. His teacher and school owner events have inspired thousands of attendees from all over the world. events take attendees on a journey through the life, the classroom and the business in a way you've never experienced before.
Gold has been involved in field since being introduced to dance at his mother’s school at age 3. He trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and modern with Sherry Gold, Beverly Fletcher, Brian Foley, Joseph Giacobbe, Gus Giordano, Lee Theodore, Frank Hatchett, and many others.
At age 15 Mr. Gold became one of the field’s youngest master teachers, subsequently serving on the faculties of every major dance organization in the United States and Canada. He was a special guest for the Second International Congress of Dance in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and a guest speaker for conferences spanning the private sector, K–12, and higher education.
He has served as president of Dance Masters of New England and as national president of Dance Masters of America. As the founding chair of UNITY, Mr. Gold has worked closely with the leaders of most of America’s dance-teacher organizations, helping to build relationships among all educators.
